Standard Bank does me in twice

standard bank errorWorking in IT and the internet I fully understand that things can go wrong - easily - and they do - often - and the reasons are beyond human control - sometimes. However, there are contingency plans that can and should be followed, especially if you are a multi-million Rand, listed organization and especially-especially if you are one of the top 4 banks in a country.

I was amused the first time Standard Bank failed me, but the second time (in three days) and I am hacked.

Currently in Australia, internet banking is like a lifeline to controlling my business and personal finances.

With the exorbitant banking fees I get charged. I expect better than this. Work it out man!

Peter I think you will find SB are down EVERY night in the wee hours. It has annoyed me for a while now especially if you’re logging in from a different time zone. The internet is 24/7, why can’t Standard Bank be…?

    Hey Rob
    How are you doing?
I thought that might be the case - maintenance during the night or something?
Will let you know what Ross says.
