“Two years ago if someone said VoIP PBX to me, I’d have thought they were swearing,” says Peter Flynn, MD of White Wall Web and director and co-founder of Vocal Pulse. “Now it is central to what we are doing with our new business – that is how quickly this technology is emerging.”
White Wall Web recently completed the first phase of developing the web interface for Vocal Pulse found at www.vocalpulse.com. “The web interface is a very important aspect of our strategy for Vocal Pulse” says Rob Gilmour, co-founder and director of Vocal Pulse. “It will be our primary distribution channel with powerful online sign-up functionality.
“We realized that around VoIP and PBX there is a lot of jargon and a lot of hype at the moment,” says Tim Price, Marketing Manager of Vocal Pulse. “The first edition Vocal Pulse web site is rich in information and seeks to demystify potential clients by providing balanced and informative content. Phase Two will include powerful features to aid end-user’s experience purchasing process.”
Vocal Pulse’s premier product, the “Vpx Hybrid Hosted IP PBX” is the first of its kind available in Africa and Vocal Pulse employs the only registered technician (recently certified in Los Angeles) for the underlying software. “The killer-app is the ‘Heads Up Display’ or HUD, which makes using the system a pleasure and beats anything in the analogue market hand’s down” says Gilmour.
Vocal Pulse is aggressively looking for resellers and has already had a number of applications including some from as far north as Kenya.
“As White Wall Web, we are looking forward to getting further involved in enhancing Vocal Pulse’s online offering. For now, we are very happy with what has been produced,” quips Flynn.
